D. Pharmacy 2 years

Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharma, is a diploma-level education designed for students interested in studying pharmacy.

B. Pharmacy 4 years

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is an undergraduate degree, a 4 Years Bachelors Course divided in 8 Semesters.

B. Pharmacy (Lateral)

The candidate shall complete the prescribed course satisfactorily to be eligible for the B.Pharm 3yrs lateral entry.

Pharmacology

Pharmacology is essential and important branch of Pharmaceutical Sciences and health care. In Pharmacology how chemical agents, both natural and synthetic (i.e., drugs) affect biological systems. Pharmacological studies can determine the effects of chemical agents upon subcellular, systemic, physiological or behavioural processes; focus on the treatment and prevention of diseases.

Pharmaceutics

Pharmaceutics is the one of the major discipline in pharmacy that deals with all facts of the process of turning a new chemical entity into a medication able to safely and effectively use by patients. A graduate shall be able to formulate, store, dispense and analyze the prescription and/or manufacture the pharmaceuticals and cosmetics at the commercial level.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis covers basic and advanced, organic and inorganic chemistry, reactions of drugs / intermediates / additives in biological systems, chemistry of drugs, Structure Activity Relationships (SAR), synthesis of drugs and intermediates on laboratory scale and analysis of drugs and raw materials by instrumental, titrimetric and volumetric methods.

Pharmacognosy

Pharmacognosy is one of the branches of the modern pharmacy profession however, Plants are the major source of the natural products that have played vital roles in providing both food and drug materials. It describe morphology and histology of different plant organs and identify drugs in the whole state and in powdered condition with suitable examples of medicinal plants.
